Step 1 – Book Your Session

Your session booking fee includes…

Step 2 – Order Your Images

We’ll meet after the session to…

  • review where the images should go: website header, social media, collateral, etc
  • cull and select the top options that best highlight your brand
  • order your portraits to show your value to your clients

Most clients spend around $1,500 on their images after the session.

The Branding Portrait Process


Step 1

Inquiry Consult

We chat over Zoom, and I learn all about your vision! We’ll also make sure that I’m the right photographer for you.

Step 2

Custom Proposal

I build a custom quote based on your vision, needs, and goals based on our Inquiry Consult.

Step 3

Contract & Invoice

If all looks good in the Proposal, you’ll sign a contract and pay a 50% deposit.

Step 4

Planning Meeting

We meet for an hour and discuss logistics—wardrobe, styling, hair and makeup, location, props, the works! We prepare so the session is easy and fun. My goal is to have all the details figured out before your shoot so we can show up and have fun.

Step 5

Shoot Prep

I’ll send over parking instructions & some tips to prepare for your session, like when to get a haircut, how to prepare your wardrobe, and more. We’ll also gather wardrobe, props, and whatever we need for a successful photoshoot!

Step 6

The Session

You get pampered by a hair and makeup artist before we laugh our way through your session. I’ll guide you through posing, expressions, etc., so we nail your vision. We’ll shoot tethered so you can see results in real-time and suggest changes or iterations!

Step 7

Culling

After your session, I review the images and remove the blinks, weird faces, and test shots. I’ll narrow down to the best shots for you to review.

Step 8

Proofs & Editing

I’ll share the images to an online gallery where you can select your favorites. Then, I’ll get into the nitty-gritty editing (skin blemishes, stray hairs, clothing wrinkles, and more).

Step 9

Delivery & Close Out

I’ll share the edited images to the online gallery. You can ask for revisions to ensure the images are perfect as needed! You can download your portraits from here and share them with the world!

Branding portrait sessions start at $550, which includes a planning session, hair and makeup, and a 3-hour photo session. Most clients spend about $1,500.

Hey, guess what? Everyone else does, too! Well, unless you’re a model. Know what else? That’s why you hire a professional photographer. Much of my free time is spent learning about human behavior and body language because I find it fascinating. It’s my job to make you look fabulous and feel comfortable simultaneously. I also make sure that the poses we use fit your personality. Are you light and bubbly? Then we won’t cross your arms. Are you a high-level executive who is super approachable and friendly? Then, we’ll take pictures with the camera at eye level instead of looking up, which makes you look imposing and intimidating. Before the session, we’ll talk a few times to iron out the message and personality you want to exude in your images. It’s my job to make the photos tell that story!

Yes, I do! I believe in photographing everyone in their best light (pun intended). Everyone is a little different: skin tone, body shape, personality, and more. Regardless of your individual uniqueness, I promise to listen to your concerns and address them the best I can with amazing images that celebrate you. Weather is fickle, there’s no denying that. Then again, if you live in Georgia, you know that if you don’t like the weather, wait another 30 minutes! But what happens if we plan a session and the skies open up? We have two options – reschedule or try to wait it out. I purposefully do not put session dates in my contracts for this exact reason. Life and weather happen! I’m game to say, “Well, it doesn’t look like today will work. What’s your next available time?” Unless you want a rain-soaked session, we can always reschedule at no additional charge. My default location is also in a studio because we can control the AC!

Life happens! I get it. I try to be as flexible as possible because of this reality. We can easily reschedule if you let me know 8 or more days before the session. If you let me know 7 or fewer days before the session, then there may be sunk costs including, but not limited to studio or equipment rental fees. Additionally, sessions must be rescheduled within 6 months of the original session date. We’ll talk and figure out the best plan once you let me know you need to reschedule.

During our planning meeting, we’ll discuss wardrobe and styling options, including where you can find various pieces as necessary. I’ll also send some helpful links you can read and review to get some ideas. I’m happy to work with you to determine the best attire for your session. And if you’re changing outfits, I can provide pointers to make it much easier—especially if we’re shooting on location!

I turn around proof images in about one week of your session. Detailed edits take about a week to complete every 10 images. Finally, printed product delivery turnarounds can vary:

  • Folio boxes takes about a month to turn around
  • Albums take about one month to deliver after the design is approved and the order is placed
  • Collages and Wall Art Pieces can take about 3 weeks to deliver

Every image receives global editing, AKA overall exposure, contrast, color, etc., when you receive them as proofs. Once you have gotten your proof images, you’ll pick a selection, and then I’ll perform the detailed Photoshop edits on those images. After that, you’ll receive access to the final selection of images. You can also ask for tweaks and revisions to the edits – I want to ensure you’re thrilled with your images.

Images are available at a high resolution, which is great for large prints up to 24×36″ or various publication mediums. You can download your images via an online gallery that I’ll share after your session.

Yes, I have a very rigorous and robust backup strategy to keep your images long-term after your session! I maintain delivered images for at least two years after your session.

During your photoshoot, I will connect my camera to my laptop to collaborate and review your images as we capture them. This lets you suggest tweaks to posing, expression, prop locations, lighting, etc., in real time. I want you to know exactly what we captured before we wrap your session. Also, you can ask for three rounds of revisions and tweaks to your edited images in case I missed a detail or you would like something slightly different.
