When you walk into someone’s home, one of the first things you may see is pictures or paintings on the walls. First, the standard travel photos are up, maybe some abstract pieces by an extraordinary painter, and occasionally a quote or two if it’s a millennial’s home. Next on the list are portraits. Oh sure,…
Oh, school picture day. An event that brings back lots of cringy memories and pictures we’d rather not see ever again. Well, for many of us. If you’re one of the lucky ones who had great yearbook photos, congratulations! But, you know friends who did not get great headshots in the yearbook over the years. Now for your senior year, you still have to get the standard yearbook photo. But what if you want to do some more portraits? What do you do if it rains on your photoshoot? If you live in Atlanta, you know that the weather is pretty fickle. The saying goes, “If you don’t like the weather, wait 30 minutes.” That’s fine for everyday activities, but what if you have a portrait session scheduled? Do we pack it in? Do…
Going beyond the “About Me” section of my website. This is Story #3 about what inspires my photography. Explosions, electricutions, and inventions; oh my!
Flash portraits guarantee that no matter the situation, you will receive the images you’ve imagined that also stand out from everyone else’s.
How hard is it to pick a portrait concept? Where do you find inspiration?! In this post, I’ll walk through sources of inspiration for your portrait session.
We’ve all been there. You’re waiting to meet a new person, and you don’t recognize them until they introduce themselves. Why? Their headshot is 5 to 15 years old. This reason is just one of 4 to update your headshot consistently. Want to know the other reasons?
